Lila Payne 
Lila was born in 1863 in Polk Co., Missouri.1 Lila's father is Joel Payne and her mother was Mary Polly Huckaby. Her paternal grandparents were Jubal Payne and Rhoady Basham. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas William, James R., Benjamine F., Asa Mark, Nonnie, Elizabeth J., Alice and Amanda. She is the youngest of the nine children.General Notes
