Ella was born on January 21st, 1856 in Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin.1 Ella's father was James Nelson Morrison and her mother was Rebecca Snider. Her maternal grandparents were Asa Barton Snider and Ann Uley. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles McClure, Asa Frank, John C., William Meyer, James, Mary Jane and Elmira B.. She died at the age of 22 on December 5th, 1878 in Linn Co., Kansas.1 General Notes
