Jessie Floyd Mize 
Jessie Floyd was born on January 13th, 1902 in Peggs, Indian Territory, Cherokee Co., Oklahoma.1 Jessie Floyd's father was George B. McCellan Mize and his mother was Rosa Essafern Reynolds. His paternal grandfather was Logan Mize and his paternal grandmother is Eliza Ann Ping. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Walter Leroy, William Franklin, Homer Martin, Sherman, Ina Mirtle, Altie Pearl, Essie Floy and Nellie Beulah. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 55 on June 22nd, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma. He was buried in Bixby, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.1 1 General Notes
