Altie Pearl was born on April 13th, 1899 in Locust Grove, Mayes Co., Oklahoma.1 Altie Pearl's father was George B. McCellan Mize and her mother was Rosa Essafern Reynolds. Her paternal grandfather was Logan Mize and her paternal grandmother is Eliza Ann Ping. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Walter Leroy, William Franklin, Homer Martin, Sherman, Jessie Floyd, Ina Mirtle, Essie Floy and Nellie Beulah. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
