Solomon Newton Milam 
Solomon Newton was born on January 14th, 1848 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Solomon Newton's father was Obediah Milam and his mother was Charlotte Cherry. His maternal grandparents were William Cherry and Frances Taylor. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William S, John Richardson, Joseph, Stephen Martin, Hezekiah T, Wesley J, Cicelia Frances, Martha Washington and Sarah Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 61 on August 30th, 1909.1 -
