Martha Washington was born on July 4th, 1857 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Martha Washington's father was Obediah Milam and her mother was Charlotte Cherry. Her maternal grandparents were William Cherry and Frances Taylor. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named William S, John Richardson, Joseph, Solomon Newton, Stephen Martin, Hezekiah T, Wesley J, Cicelia Frances and Sarah Margaret. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.1 -
