Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Benjamin Means and Hadessa Nancy Whitsett; her maternal grandparents are Rees Jones and Catherine Humbert. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Benny, Ralph, William B., Kate E., Mary Price and Lulah Jones. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Edward Crosby, Mowry E., Eleanor D., Jeanette T., Josephine Agnes, Elmira C. and Sarah. She died at the age of 77 on November 19th, 1939 in Duquesne, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. She was buried in Versailles Cem., McKeesport, Pennsylvania.1 1 General Notes
