John Siemon was born on April 25th, 1893 in Pennsylvania.1 John Siemon's father was Edward Crosby Means and his mother is Margaret B. Seamans. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Whitsett Means and Eleanor L. Davitt. He had a sister named Elanor. He is the younger of the two children.General Notes

John worked as a cons. engineer on the Colfax-Larimer Viaduct in De
nv er in 1915-1916. He was the designer of the Denver Tramway 1916-191
7, w as witha the Colorado State Highway Dept. as a field engineer in 1919
-192 0, a bridge engineer 1920-1921, resident engineer in charge of constr
ucti on of the 16th St. viaduct in Denver 1922-1924, and partnered with H.
S. Cr ocker on bridge construction 1924 to date.
John was discharged from the military 15 August 1920. He was a Mason, S
hr iner and a member of the American Legion. He liked mountain climbin
g, gol f, tennis, horseback riding, hunting and skiing.
