Sweyn McLeod

Sweyn was born on October 23rd, 1827 in Vernal, Greene Co., Mississippi.¹ Sweyn's father was Peter McLeod and his mother was Sarah McCaskill. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Roderick, Farquehard, Norman C., Allen, Peter,Jr., Benjamin, Archabald, John, Kenneth McCaskill, Nancy and Catherine. He is the youngest of the thirteen children.
