John Roderick McFarland 
John Roderick was born on October 15th, 1857.1 John Roderick's father was John Brown McFarland and his mother was Flora McCraney. His paternal grandparents were John McFarland and Mary Keahey. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named George Calvin, William Jackson, Kenneth Virgil, Sarah Jane, Mary Isabelle, Margaret Jeannette, Ida Katherine, Martha Ella, Vivian Evelyn and Flora Edith. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 49 on July 7th, 1907.1 General Notes
