Anne E. was born in 1846 in San Felip, Austin Co., Texas.1 Anne E.'s father was Archibald T. McCorcle and her mother was Carolina Eliza Matilda Cook Allen. Her maternal grandparents were Martin C. Allen and Elizabeth Vice. She had four brothers and a sister, named Henry T., James A., Whipple Wesson, Dr., William Wade Hudgins and Mary Lavina. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 3 in September 1849 in Milam, Milam Co., Texas. She was buried in Milam, Milam Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
