Ruth Truman Marshall was born in Richmond, Virginia. She was t
he on ly daughter of Lewis and Anne Marshall. She attended Thomas Jeffers
on Hi gh School in Richmond and was graduated. She married Woodrow Wils
on Par is on 28 November 1942 at Calvary Baptist Church in Richmond, Virgi
nia. R uth was the mother of two daughters; Patricia and Linda. She w
as a full t ime wife and mother who enjoyed her home and her family. Ru
th was a memb er of First Baptist Church and an active menber of the Sund
ay School at Fi rst Baptist Church. She also enjoyed active participati
on in the Brand on Womans Club of which she was a member. Ruth was diagno
sed as havi ng a malignant brain tumor and she died at her home at 5208 Mo
nument Aven ue in Richmond on 01 May 1985 as a result of the tumor.
‌Ruth Truman and Woodrow Wilson were married in a religious ceremony on November 28th, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia.1 They had two daughters named Living and Living.
