Philip Henry was born on August 26th, 1902 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 Philip Henry's father was Debe William Marbut and his mother is Rebecca Elizabeth Mae Tribble. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert E. Lee, Carl, Elizabeth Mae, Esther Ray and Debooth C..
