Claude Melnot Major 
Claude Melnot was born on December 6th, 1882 in Brownwood, Brown Co., Texas.1 Claude Melnot's father was Hezekiah Ford Major and his mother was Josephine Conner. His maternal grandparents are Unknown Conner and Nancy Jane Fike. He had a sister named Anna May Belle. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Arnold, Basil, Irving, Birdie, Maggie, Myrtle and Opal. He died at the age of 48 on November 29th, 1931 in Denison, Grayson Co., Texas.1
