Hezekiah was born on November 24th, 1840 in Monongralia Co., West Virginia.1 Hezekiah's father was David a. Lough and his mother was Mary Core. His maternal grandparents were Christopher Core and Hannah Snider. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Moses, Joseph Core, Christopher, Sanford, David Michael, Hannah, Jane, Sarah Ann, Martha and Alcinda. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on November 6th, 1910 in Memphis, Scotland Co., Missouri. He was buried in Memphis, Scotland Co., Missouri.1 1 General Notes
