Rachel E. Ledford 
Rachel E. was born on February 19th, 1878 in Hunt Co., Texas.1 Rachel E.'s father was James Kenneth Ledford and her mother was Darnellie Juliar Basham. Her paternal grandfather was Samuel B. Ledford and her paternal grandmother is Rachel Curtis; her maternal grandparents were John Marion Basham and Margaret Elizabeth Hinds. She had three brothers and a sister, named Marion Edward, Ghumie, James Edgar and Maggie Bell. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 2 on December 3rd, 1880 in Hunt Co., Texas.1 General Notes
