Vaden Scott Keahey 
Vaden Scott was born on September 12th, 1880 in Scott Co., Mississippi.1 Vaden Scott's father was George Jefferson Keahey and his mother was Martha Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Jackson Keahey and Martha Slay. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, George Oscar, Jefferson, Mattie Catherine, Stella, Margaret Lenore and Mary. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Jefferson, Joe and Mary. He died at the age of 88 on September 23rd, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas.1 General Notes
