Mary Ann Keahey 
Mary Ann was born in 1816 in Robeson Co., North Carolina.1 Mary Ann's father was Samuel M. Keahey and her mother was Isabella Patterson. Her paternal grandparents were James Keahey and Mary Jane Jackson; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Patterson and Margaret Jane Graham. She had four brothers and two sisters, named George B., Daniel Patterson, James Graham, Samuel,Jr., Margaret and Eliza. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 54 in 1870 in Texas.1 General Notes
