Fred Howard Keahey 
Fred Howard was born on April 22nd, 1896.1 Fred Howard's father was George Preston Keahey and his mother was Leona Melvina Guinn. His paternal grandparents were Preston Gustavius Keahey and Amanda Cox. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John Jackson, William Pleasant, George Leroy, Abe Kline, Homer Earl, Albert Elihu, Ruthie Belle and Blanche. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 49 on November 27th, 1945 in Meridian, Mississippi.1 General Notes
