Calvin Julius was born on August 20th, 1897 in Crystal Falls, Stephens Co., Texas.1 Calvin Julius' father was Julius Malcolmb Huffman and his mother was Cora Lee Daniel. His paternal grandparents are L. E. Huffman and Sarah Gray; his maternal grandparents are Marcus Daniel and Josephine Karner. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Carl Lee, Sam Lafette, George Marium, John L., Ruth, Huffman, Maybelle, Vernia J., Cora and Olie.
