Viola Grace was born on February 19th, 1900 in Martindale, Caldwell Co., Texas.1 Viola Grace's father was Robert Emmet Hill and her mother was Marie Otelia Grossman. Her paternal grandparents were Able Winslow, Jr. Hill and Josephine C McCown. She had four brothers named Leona, Lee Earl, Lillian and Martha. She was the oldest of the five children.
