Stephen James Havard

Stephen James was born on July 16th, 1845 in Marion Co., Mississippi.¹   Stephen James' father was Jeremiah Havard and his mother was Elizabeth Cross. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Charles, PLeasant T., William Franklin, Benjamin William, Jeremiah, Jr., George W. L., Mary Jane, Louisa and Tinsey A..  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 78 on November 23rd, 1923 in Angelina Co., Texas.¹ 

‌Stephen James and Lurina Jane were married in a religious ceremony on July 4th, 1865.¹
