Marguerite Estell was born on September 30th, 1905 in Lavaca Co. Texas.1 Marguerite Estell's father was Morehouse Latting Hale and her mother was Eliza Johnston. Her maternal grandparents were William E. Johnston and Elizabeth Miles Allen. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Iva Chester, Arthur Leonard, Leslie Johnston, Nellie Gertrude and Geraldine Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died in Houston, Harris Co., Texas. She was buried in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Harris Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
