Charles operated an Inn at his farm from 1822 to 1835 to accomodate tra
ve llers travelling from Talbotville to Albertville and points west. Ja
ne ma rried Leonard Wigle on November 126, 1824 and moved to where the Wig
le Mot el is today. When Jane and her husband opened the Wigle Tave
rn in the m id 1830's, Charles closed his Inn. The brick house at the Wig
le homeste ad was built in 1870 by Leonard, one of their sons. Edward owe
ned Lot 2 23 South Talbot Road. Your dad is under the impression Marion S
tien's ho me was built on part of this parcel of land.

‌Charles and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on July 26th, 1803 in Eastrington, Yorkshire, England.1 They had seven sons and five daughters, named Thomas, Charles, Abram, Isaac, James, Edward, William, Rebecca, Jane, Ann, Mary and Hannah.

Edward was born on September 13th, 1823.1 He died at the age of 83 on January 22nd, 1907.1
