James Grigsby 
James was born on November 10th, 1748.1 James' father was John,3rd Grigsby and his mother was Rosanna Etchison. His paternal grandparents were John,Jr. Grigsby and Jane Redmond. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John,4th, Charles, William, Lettitia and Sarah Mildred. He had eleven half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Joseph, Elisha, Reuben, Louis, Calvin, Charles, Mondaner, Newton, James, Wilkerson, William, Ann, Jane, Rachael, Martha, Elizabeth, Frances and Susanna.
