Abner Joseph Grigsby 
Abner Joseph was born on November 10th, 1821.1 Abner Joseph's father was Reuben Grigsby and his mother was Verlinda Alexander Porter. His paternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Elizabeth Porter; his maternal grandparents are Abner Porter and Hanna Ingram. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Lucian Porter, George Hugh Blair, Benjamin Porter, Jacqueline A., Hannah Frances, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann, Lucy Maria, Reubenia W. and Emma Martha. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 30 in 1851.1 General Notes
