Irvin Cornelius Griffin 
Irvin Cornelius was born on April 23rd, 1867.1 Irvin Cornelius' father was James Cornelius Griffin and his mother was Nancy Elizabeth Bassham. His paternal grandfather was Bluford Griffin and his paternal grandmother is Eveline Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Howard Bassham and Mary Jane Sheppard. He had a brother and a sister, named James Avery and Ida Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Frank and Ada. He died at the age of 43 on August 1st, 1910 in McKinney, Texas.1 General Notes
