Edward Gravatt 
Edward was born on May 10th, 1847 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Edward's father was William Gravatt and his mother was Louisa Skaggs. His paternal grandparents are Levy C. Gravatt and Sarah Salsman; his maternal grandfather was William Skaggs and his maternal grandmother is Mary Polly Pierce. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Levi, William M., Mary, Sarah and Nancy. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on April 26th, 1922 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
