Mary Neal Gardner 
Mary Neal was born on January 15th, 1823 in Warren County, Georgia.1 Mary Neal's father was John Gardner and her mother was Emeline "Emily" Beall. Her paternal grandparents were Sterling, Sr. Gardner and Mary Polly Neal; her maternal grandfather was Robert Beall and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Jenkins. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Robert Beall I, Thomas Neal, John, Jr., Sterling Capers, John Brantley, James Hightower, Caroline Narcissa and Sarah Melissa. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 81 on September 30th, 1904 in Booneville, Prentiss County, Mississippi.1 -
