Octavia Fugate 
Octavia was born on November 27th, 1897 in Kentucky.1 Octavia's father was Samuel Fugate and her mother was Anna Combs. Her paternal grandparents were Henley Fugate and Tabitha Ritchie; her maternal grandparents were Francis Combs and Rhoda Ritchie. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Hiram, George, Frank, Fairlena Parlee, Rhoda and Martha Mae. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 76 in November 1973 in Talcum, Knott, Kentucky, United States of America. She was buried in New Bethleham Church Cemetery, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
