Martha Ellen Farmer 
Martha Ellen was born in April 1880 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Martha Ellen's father was John Thomas Farmer and her mother was Mary Alice Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. She had five brothers and a sister, named William Henry, Luther Young, Geroge Elliott, Robert Jackson, Emmet Cleveland and Rutha Frances. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 32 in 1912.1 General Notes
