Martha Leona was born on March 31st, 1872 in Cowhouse Creek, Coryell Co., Texas.1 Martha Leona's father was Jesse Saunders Everett and her mother was Martha Jane Blackwell. Her maternal grandparents were Joel Blackwell and Sarah Ememline Graham. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jesse Newton, John M., Levi Irvin, Susan and Louise Angel. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 81 on May 8th, 1953 in Sweetwater, Nolan Co., Texas.1 General Notes
