James Engle

James was born in August 1892 in Kentucky.¹ James' father is Sampson S. Engle and his mother is Kizzie Combs. His paternal grandfather is William Engle and his paternal grandmother was Lovina Fugate; his maternal grandparents were Francis Combs and Rhoda Ritchie. He had three sisters named Linda, Rhoda and Dora. He is the second oldest of the four children.
