Jake Elkin

Jake was born on August 10th, 1881.¹ Jake's father was John Martin Elkin and his mother was Sarah A. Thompson. His paternal grandparents were William Melton Elkin and Lucyann Perlina Davis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James S., William, Joseph R., Charles A., Lucy J., Mary M. and Florence. He is the youngest of the eight children.
