Nehemiah Dowell

Nehemiah was born in 1766 in Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ Nehemiah's father was George DOWELL and his mother was Margaret \\. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Dowell and his paternal grandmother is Thomas's Wife Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Micajah, Francis, Elijah, John, Celia and Alice. He had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Littleberry, Elijah, Francis, John, Littleberry, Micajah, Nehemiah and Alice. He died at the age of 74 on September 13th, 1840 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹
