Drinkerd Dowell 
Drinkerd was born on December 18th, 1806 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Drinkerd's father was Micajah Dowell and his mother was Frances (Fanny) Meador. His paternal grandparents were George DOWELL and Margaret \\; his maternal grandparents are Ambrose Meador and Francis Hicks\Hix. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Elijah, Nehemiah, Littleberry, Claibourne, Mary "Polly", Sarah, Frances, Lettisher "Letitia" and Malinda. He is the second youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Drinkard and Letitia.General Notes
