Sarah Elizabeth DeSpain 
Sarah Elizabeth was born in 1832 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Sarah Elizabeth's father was Silas DeSpain and her mother was Abigail Edwards. Her paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William Lewis, Jesse H., James H., Nancy J., Mary Frances and Adaline. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 55 in 1887.1 General Notes
