Lee DeSpain 
Lee was born on January 13th, 1902 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Lee's father was John William DeSpain and his mother was Melissa J. Morgan. His paternal grandparents were William Perry DeSpain and Mary Elizabeth Warren. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Ernest Franklin, John William Thomas, Alfred Harrison, Alvin, Samuel, Henry George, Luther Herman, Mattie L. and Elizabeth Ellen. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 98 on September 27th, 2000 in Lexington, Fayette Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
