John Henry DeSpain 
John Henry was born on February 23rd, 1884 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 John Henry's father was Lewis Oscar DeSpain and his mother was Amanda Jane Johnson. His paternal grandparents are John DeSpain and Malinda A. Bazor; his maternal grandparents were Thornton Johnson and Nancy Lee. He had a brother and three sisters, named George M., Mary Green, Emile T. and Rosa Lee. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 46 on September 22nd, 1930 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. He was buried in DeSpain Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
