Jesse H. DeSpain 
Jesse H. was born on September 13th, 1842 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Jesse H.'s father was Silas DeSpain and his mother was Abigail Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Lewis, James H., Sarah Elizabeth, Nancy J., Mary Frances and Adaline. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 67 on February 24th, 1910 in Danville, Illinois.1 General Notes
