Belinda DeSpain 
Belinda was born on July 31st, 1846 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Belinda's father was John M. DeSpain and her mother was Mariah Perkins. Her paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. She had three brothers and a sister, named Milton Thomas, Silas, Newton and Mary Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Marshall and Nancy. She died at the age of 59 on November 30th, 1905 in Des Moines Co., Iowa.1 General Notes
