William Lea Davis

William Lea was born on November 18th, 1835 in Winston Co., Alabama.¹   William Lea's father was Harmon Davis and his mother was Nancy Posey. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Davis, Van Buren Thomas, Thomas E., Jasper, James Robert, Lucinda, Mary Ann, Margaret, Sarah V., Nancy Eveline and Rachel.  He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 83 on February 6th, 1919 in Saragossa, Walker Co, Alabama.¹
