George Dewey Davis

George Dewey was born about 1911 in Texas.¹   George Dewey's father was David Columbus Davis and his mother was Martha Hepziah Brush.  His paternal grandfather was Henry P. Davis and his paternal grandmother is Mary Rebecca Edinburgh. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Edward, David Lillard, Milton Homer, Jessie Columbus, Mossie Fuller, Alvin Miller, Bertha May and Dona Lee.  He was the second youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Robert Pinkland, Viola Irene and Mary Maude.  He died after 1920.¹
