Dorotha Lucille was born on September 24th, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas.1 Dorotha Lucille's father was David Lillard Davis and her mother is Minnie Mae Gilley. Her paternal grandparents were David Columbus Davis and Martha Hepziah Brush. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ernest Edward, Velma May and Nettie Loreaine.
