Robert Quincy Davidson 
Robert Quincy was born on May 26th, 1843 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama.1 Robert Quincy's father was Milas Alexander Davidson and his mother was Dovey Robison. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Davidson and Sarah Nesbit. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Clinton, Joseph Oscar, Richard Steele, John Rice, George Spruce, Laura, Dovey Amanda and Baby Daughter. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 on January 13th, 1892 in Waco, Texas.1 General Notes

I have just recently found information on another of Milas Alexander Da
vi dson's sons, Robert Quincy Davidson. In 1880, he was in Leon County T

NC AL, R B (m) 8 mths TX NC AL. R Q died in Waco Texas 1892 as an inv
al id and his family was in destitute conditions. The officer who investi
gat ed the report on the death helped get a casket and transportati
on to a cem etery in Mart TX. The report mentioned three children with t
he oldest dau ghter working to help support the family. This means that J
osephine and G eorge had already left the home and Mary would have be
en 18 in 1992 and w as the one working. I wonder if the R B who was 8 mon
ths old in 1880 w as a namesake of his uncle Richard Breckenridge.
