Mattison Cornett

Mattison was born in 1868 in Kentucky.¹ Mattison's father is Elijah Combs Cornett and his mother was Cynthia Grigsby. His maternal grandparents are John Grigsby and Martha Campbell. He has five brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Benjamin, William G., Nancy, Elhannon, Virginia Jane, Cealy, Isabell, Elvira and Martha. He is the second youngest of the eleven children.
