Nancy was born in 1880 in Kentucky.1 Nancy's father is Franklin Combs and her mother is Vina Ritchie. Her maternal grandfather was John Ritchie and her maternal grandmother is Sylvania Sizemore. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Austin, Isaac, Jesse, Larkin, Alexander, Armelda, Rachel and Louisa Jane. She is the youngest of the ten children.General Notes
