Allen Cleveland 
Allen was born about 1803 in South Carolina.1 Allen's father was Jacob, Jr. Cleveland and his mother was Martha (Rhody) Lyon. His paternal grandparents were Jacob, Sr. Cleveland and Mildred (Milly) White. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Rice, Oliver Cromwell, Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, William, Alexander, Jacob M., Gilmer, Martha (Sarah) and Amanda (Elizabeth).
