George Clayton

George was born about 1753 in Rowan Co., North Carolina.¹ George's father was George Clayton and his mother was Sarah Lambert. He had a brother and five sisters, named Lambert, Rachel, Jane Henrietta, Hannah, Ann and Margaret. He is the second oldest of the seven children.
