Glady Burton

Glady was born on May 10th, 1908.¹ Glady's father was Isaac Green Burton and her mother is Joe Annie Giles. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Milton Giles and Margaret Clementine McCowen. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Milton, Roy, Willie, Rosco, Leonard, Wallace Gates, Bishop, Paul, Robert, Gussie, Lula Eldora and Jaunita. She is the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.
